What up World ;;)

Yo, whew...I landed safely....great. Let's start with a definition because people don't know what words mean anymore...


Introspect-1.to practice introspection; consider one's own internal state or feelings.
2.to look into or examine (one's own mind, feelings, etc.).

Conscious-aware of one's own existence, sensations, thoughts, surroundings, etc.


First of all, I want to say wassup and thank you to anyone who'd take the time out of their day to read this cause.........well I won't say all that but thanks lol. I kinda started this whole blogging thing on a whim, while reading the blog of one of my old/new friends (phat shouts to boog). You know when ya meet somebody you kinda knew a while back but when ya see em' again you still have to reintroduce urself, sort of? Yeah, one of those lol :) And no I'm not biting you lames....it's called inspiration. I mean really, that's like being at a checkout and the person in front of you used cash, so you put ur cash back in your pocket and pull out a sack of f&%kin' PENNIES!!!!! Let me get off that soapbox.......sooooo....uuhhmmmm...yeah...what up? I guess I should formally introduce myself. I'm just me. Ur dude's dude. I go by the name of Intrspective Coltrane or Conscious Colby or if we take it back a bit Abstract C-Lew. I am a young man trying to make it in the world doin' it my own way. I sing. I rap. I draw. I act. I model. A little dance. The arts have calmed my savage beasts ever since I can remember . It all started for me in 88', maybe I haven't left....I was an awkward child lol. I listened to gospel, jazz, and classical until about middle school. When I was young I used draw A LOT. I would get lost in a picture(Literally hours)...til' my moms asked me to do something or eat. I was just one of those kids people thought would go crazy from staring into the clouds and daydreamin' all the time. Needless to say that affected who I am today. As a pre-teen I was exposed to the secular world of music(the first I learned was Just Kickin' It by Xscape, my big sis taught me the words lol). That is from whist my love for all music came. Music is full of stories. My imagination would make movies with them…. or music videos lol. As a rugrat, I was the guy that was friends with the “cool guys” but I’d end being the butt of the jokes, ironically enough lol. In high school, I guess you could say that changed a bit. I’d like to call that time in my life “crowded loneliness”. I was considered and I am quoting here the “Bees Kneez”(Summer lol) to most of the people around me. Facades are funny, you would think that I hung out with the entire school….and I kinda did, but never outside of school...Go figure. But with the exception of a couple people (The Superfriends), my friends were that b-ball, my playstation, and food. Sad right? Maybe not, it kept outta trouble, my nickname was "The Golden Boy" lol.

As you can already probably tell, the majority of my adolescence was spent inside my head. Hence, this is where I got the “Introspective” part of my name. I got the name Coltrane from the jazz artist of the same title. John(Also my first name) Coltrane was one of the greatest musicians of all time. The genre of Jazz was the first to become synonymous with the term cool, also Jazz is just cool without trying to be something it's not, its just different. Therefore, Jazz and I are synonymous ya dig? The deal-sealer was the C-O-L though lol. It's crazy how life is sometimes...bein' a geek made me cool, and being cool made me realize how important it is to DO U and how fake people are lol;;) Maybe I'm not cool. But it doesn't even really make a difference to me, I think I'm a cool guy, u thinkin' different really doesn't change that much lol. SO.......In a BIG AZZ nutshell that's me. A lot of influences churns out a lot of influence. Oh yeah I'd like to apologize.......this blog got a little carried away but hopefully I didn't bore you to death. From now on I won't be as long....maybe.....but now were friends cause you know a bunch about me :D Well......in out for now kiddies.....I'll be back, baring gifts lol ;;) PEACE.LOVE.COLTRANE.
